About EU Test Simulator
A free, independent practice tool for the computer-based tests used in the selection procedures of the European Union institutions.
Why we built it
Most candidates fail EU competitions at the first hurdle: the timed reasoning tests. Not because the questions are beyond them, but because they have never sat them under the clock. Official sample tests are few, and commercial preparation is expensive. We wanted a place where anyone can rehearse the real formats, with the real timings, for free and without creating an account.
How the questions are made
Each test type is built from question models that mirror the official items: for numerical reasoning, for example, percentage change, shares, per-capita values, percentage points, weighted averages and compound growth; for abstract reasoning, series driven by several simultaneous rules on rotation, position, counts, shapes, fills and sizes. The models are filled with randomised, plausible data, the correct answer is computed, the wrong options are built from the classic mistakes, and every item carries a worked explanation. The statistics shown are hypothetical.
Formats, question counts, time limits and pass marks come from the notices of competition published in the Official Journal and from EPSO's own pages; the competition calendar and the guides cite their sources.
What is coming
A full preparation platform with verbal reasoning, the EU knowledge and digital skills tests of the AD5 competition, situational judgement, field-related tests for specialist competitions (audit, IT, law) and full mock exams with progress tracking. After any test you can leave your email to be notified.
Who runs it
EU Test Simulator (testsimulator.eu) is developed and operated by Azbouki R&D LTD, a software company. The question bank and the site are built in-house.
Independence
EU Test Simulator is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the European Personnel Selection Office or any EU institution. We do not use EPSO's name or logo as a brand, and we do not claim that our questions are official. Test formats may change; always refer to the official notice of the competition you apply for.
